Home blood pressure log for doctor visits

KeepBP · Doctor PDF & share link · Updated September 17, 2026

Bring a clear home BP log to your next appointment. KeepBP lets you record readings, optionally summarize an AHA-style 7-day window, and hand your clinician a one-page doctor PDF or an expiring share link.

Open KeepBP

Why a home log helps the visit

  • Clinic readings alone can miss day-to-day patterns
  • A dated list (and optional morning/evening averages) is easier to discuss than a phone notes app
  • You stay in control of what you share and when

Optional AHA-style 7-day summary

Live When you build a doctor report, you can include a 7-day home BP protocol summary: averages of morning (before noon) and evening (noon–midnight) readings over the last 7 local days in your selected range. You can leave day 1 in the average or discard it.

Carefully labeled — not endorsed. This is an optional AHA-style window for personal tracking and visit prep. KeepBP is not affiliated with or endorsed by the American Heart Association. It is not a clinical protocol, medical device, or diagnosis. Follow your clinician’s instructions.

Doctor PDF

Live From History → Doctor report, download a one-page visit artifact. Optional patient/clinician fields are available; the report still works with only your readings.

  • Share via your device’s share sheet or print
  • Bring the PDF (or a printed copy) to the appointment

Expiring share link

Live Create a read-only report URL (default 7 days, max 30). The token is high-entropy and stored only as a SHA-256 hash; revoke anytime. Readings are loaded at view time so revoke works.

Details on access control and share links: Security.

How to prepare before your visit

  1. Log home readings in KeepBP (manual entry, MyChart SMART Connect, or CSV import).
  2. Open History → Doctor report; pick your date range.
  3. Optionally include the 7-day protocol summary.
  4. Download the PDF and/or create a share link for the clinic.

What KeepBP is not

  • Not a medical device, diagnosis, or treatment advice
  • Not a substitute for professional care or emergency services
  • Category badges and averages are informal reference aids only
